The “REMOTE ACCESS” menu item opens the login page of the HOOC Gateway Manager integrated into the EIBPORT.
The HOOC Gateway Manager allows you to set up and manage secure remote access to the EIBPORT and the connected network.
A Plug & Play VPN solution is used to establish a secure connection over the internet.
The setup does not require conventional port forwarding or a DynDNS service.
Scope of Functions
The HOOC Gateway Manager provides the following features:

Secure Remote Access: Access the EIBPORT and supported network components through an encrypted VPN connection.

Plug & Play Setup: Simplified configuration of remote access.

No Port Forwarding Required: Remote access can be configured without manually opening ports on the router.

No DynDNS Required: No additional DynDNS service is needed for remote access.

The actual configuration of the HOOC VPN connection is performed in the HOOC Gateway Manager. For more information on setup and operation, refer to the separate HOOC documentation.
