Device Menu

The Device Menu provides access to the available functions, settings, and applications of a BAB TECHNOLOGIE device.

Devices detected through the automatic network search or added manually are displayed in the respective device list.

Each device is displayed with its individual device name and corresponding serial number.

Depending on how a device is accessed, the following options are available:

• Visited Devices: Displays devices that have previously been accessed using BAB STARTER.

• Search for Devices on the Network → Found Devices: Displays devices detected through the automatic network search.

• Add Devices Manually: Allows direct access to a device by entering its IP address or hostname and the corresponding HTTP port.

Open the Device Menu

To open the Device Menu, follow these steps:

1. Launch BAB STARTER.

2. Select the desired device under “Visited Devices” or “Search for Devices on the Network”. Alternatively, you can establish a direct connection using “Add Devices Manually”.

3. Click the corresponding device entry or, when adding a device manually, click “Connect” to open the Device Menu.

The available functions and applications for the selected device will then be displayed.
