Behavior when importing and copying inputs and outputs
The behavior when importing and copying / pasting the inputs and outputs can be adapted to efficiently create and edit logic groups.
Behavior when importing
If you import logic groups, you can specify here whether and which selection dialog is displayed or how the data points are to be used:
Import without data point
Show selection dialog during import
Create a new data point with the settings of the original data point.
Behavior during Copy&Paste
If you copy and paste logic groups, you can determine the behavior of how the data points are to be used:
Insert without data point
Show selection dialog when inserting
Create a new data point with the settings of the original data point.
Please note that when an input or output is copied, you have to select whether the assigned data point is to be removed or automatically created!
It is important that when a new data point is added, it must be renamed so that it can be differentiated later.
To explain, the new data point is a 1:1 copy and has the same group address as well as the identical name. This can lead to confusion under Settings / Data points.
