The modern, fully browser-based graphical editor provides extensive functionality for users and system integrators. Comment and search functions support the creation, documentation, and management of complex logic configurations. Existing logic configurations can be exported and imported as logic groups and reused as required.
Complex scenarios can be simulated directly in the browser before they are transferred to and activated on the respective device. Logic elements such as Calendar, Lua Script, and Statistics enable the convenient implementation of advanced automation tasks. Additional helper functions, referred to as Tools, can be used to modify, convert, or filter values between logic elements.
As a web-based application, the LOGIKEDITOR can be used largely independently of the operating system and is available on a wide range of devices with a supported web browser.
Note
The basic structure and operation of the LOGIKEDITOR are comparable on EIBPORT V3, EIBPORT V3.1, FACILITYMASTER EIBPORT, and LOGIKMODULE.
However, the available functionality may vary depending on the product and firmware version in use.
EIBPORT V3, EIBPORT V3.1 and FACILITYMASTER EIBPORT may differ, in particular, with regard to the installed firmware version and the resulting range of available functions.
LOGIKMODULE is based on a separate hardware platform. As a result, additional differences may apply with regard to supported functions, interfaces, and system behavior.

Using the Classic Job Editor
On products that support the classic Job Editor, the LOGIKEDITOR can be used in parallel with it. Existing jobs created with the classic editor are retained and can continue to be edited in the Job Editor.
Logic configurations created with the LOGIKEDITOR and jobs created with the classic Job Editor are managed independently of each other.
Note
The classic Job Editor is a product-specific function and is not available on all supported products.
