Introduction
The »Alexa Device« logic element of the LOGIKEDITOR can be used to connect building automation devices to Amazon Alexa voice control.
Note
Alexa voice control is available exclusively on EIBPORT and FACILITYMASTER EIBPORT.
This function is not available on LOGIKMODULE.
The following requirements must be met to use Alexa voice control:

an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot

a valid Amazon account for Amazon DE or Amazon UK

the BAB TECHNOLOGIE EIBPORT V3 Skill
-
a configured connection to Alexa via the BAB TECHNOLOGIE Service
The BAB TECHNOLOGIE EIBPORT V3 Skill must be linked to the Amazon account being used.
Read this documentation completely before configuring and using Alexa voice control to avoid setup and configuration errors.
Important Note
The EIBPORT or FACILITYMASTER EIBPORT must first be registered with the BAB TECHNOLOGIE Service before the BAB TECHNOLOGIE EIBPORT V3 Skill is linked to the Amazon account.

The »Alexa Device« and »Alexa Scene« logic elements are available from firmware version 3.6.0.
