In Single Device mode, the Smart Home App controls one selected Bluesound player independently of all other devices.
When an announcement is played or a playlist or preset is started, playback is performed exclusively on the selected device. If the device is already part of a BluOS group, it is temporarily removed from that group.
Device
Select the Bluesound player that should be controlled by this Smart Home App instance.
The list displays all Bluesound devices detected by the Smart Home App.
Note
The selected device must be powered on and accessible on the network. If it is not listed, verify the network connection and refresh the device list.
Grouping Behavior
This setting defines how the Smart Home App handles an existing group membership of the selected device.
If the device belongs to another group when an announcement, playlist, or preset is started, it is first removed from that group.

Note
This setting only affects the group membership of the device. Whether the previously playing content is resumed after an announcement, playlist, or preset is configured separately in the corresponding section.
Important
If Bluesound devices are controlled simultaneously through the Smart Home App and the BluOS app, commands may interfere with each other. This can lead to unexpected behavior of individual devices or groups.
