When using ETS version 6.1.1 or later together with the application program "Bereichs-Linien-Segment-Koppler 90232x", the device can also be operated as a Segment Coupler.
The Segment Coupler connects the first line segment of a KNX line with a subordinate line segment while providing galvanic isolation between the two segments.
This allows the individual line segments to operate electrically independent of one another.
The Segment Coupler provides:

a device list containing all participants of the subordinate line segment, enabling filtering of physically addressed telegrams.

a filter table for group telegrams, comparable to that of an Area Coupler or Line Coupler.
The coupler electronics are powered via the superordinate line.
