Philips Hue® lights use internal color spaces. Incoming RGB values are automatically converted into this color space and limited to the colors supported by the respective light.
As a result, a color picker may appear to "jump" after a color has been selected. This happens because the originally selected RGB value is replaced by the closest color supported by the device.
Once the Hue light reports its actual color, the visualization is updated accordingly.
