Bridge Selection
Make sure that the Philips Hue® Bridge or Hue Bridge Pro is located in the same subnet as the APPMODULE. Only then can the bridge be discovered automatically and a reliable connection be established.
Discovered bridges are displayed in the "Reachable Bridges" list.
If Hue Bridges are located in a different subnet, they may not be discovered automatically, depending on your router configuration.
In this case, enable the "Show Bridges Reported by the Cloud" option. The discovered bridges are then listed under "Unknown Bridges (Cloud Response)".
Note
If you are using a DS-Lite Internet connection, Hue Bridges belonging to other users may also appear in the list. This is caused by the shared public IPv4 address.
Alternatively, you can enter the IP address of the Hue Bridge manually.
The Smart Home App automatically refreshes information about connected Hue Bridges, their lights, scenes, and other available data every 15 minutes.
Note – Delete Authorization Data
Executing this function removes the authorization data for all paired Hue Bridges.
Afterwards, every Hue Bridge must be authorized again.
This function is typically required after replacing a Hue Bridge.
