Color Temperature

Color Temperature (EIS 6 / 0–100%)

Enter the group address used to control the desired color temperature.

Color temperature is an alternative color control mode to RGB and is specifically intended for white tones.

Hue lights support color temperatures from 2000 K (warm white) to 6500 K (cool white).

The EIS 6 value is automatically converted to the corresponding Kelvin range:

  • 0% = 6500 K

  • 100% = 2000 K

Color Temperature Status (EIS 6 / 0–100%)

Enter the group address used to report the current color temperature.

Absolute Color Temperature (Kelvin) (EIS 10 / 0–65535)

Enter the group address used to set the desired color temperature in Kelvin.

This color control mode is also intended for white tones.

Hue lights support color temperatures between 2000 K and 6500 K. Since not every Kelvin value is supported directly, the actual value applied by the light may differ slightly from the requested value.

Absolute Color Temperature Status (Kelvin) (EIS 10 / 0–65535)

Enter the group address used to report the current color temperature in Kelvin.
