8. HOOC Gateway Manager Update

It is recommended to update the firmware of the HOOC Gateway Manager regularly. If an update is available, the update is signalled in the overview of the systems in the HOOC Cloud.

In the ‘connectOS’ column, the update is signalled with a ! symbol (circled in red).

To carry out the update on the gateway, simply start the ‘Update search’. If an update is available, the update is carried out automatically.

The HOOC Gateway Manager also contains the required function in addition to the currently installed version.
Click on the ‘Check for updates’ button to start the procedure.

The update function is only available if the gateway is activated.

The current version is installed automatically during the initial setup. An update is therefore not necessary.
