Group Control

This section describes the Group Control operating mode, which allows one or more Sonos® players to be controlled together.

The corresponding configuration section is displayed only when Group Control is selected from the Operating Modedrop-down list.

Behavior When a Different Group Configuration Is Active

This setting defines how control commands are handled when the group configured in this instance is currently not active.

This may occur, for example, when:

• Another group is currently active, or

• The group configuration has been changed using the Sonos® app.

The following options are available:

Cancel Command

The received command is ignored if the configured group is not currently active.

Select Group and Execute Command

If the configured group is not active, it is created automatically using the participants configured in this instance. The received command is then executed.
