The Thermostat (Exclusive) device type is used to control a thermostat.

Unit
Defines the unit in which the temperature is specified.
Absolute Setpoint Temperature (EIS 5 – 2 Byte FP)
The absolute setpoint temperature is sent to this group address.
To transmit the absolute setpoint, the option Send Absolute Setpoint must also be enabled.
Absolute Setpoint Temperature Status (EIS 5 – 2 Byte FP)
Reports the current absolute setpoint temperature to Google.
Setpoint Adjustment (Relative) (EIS 14s – -128...127)
Uses the current setpoint temperature as the basis for a relative setpoint adjustment.
Send Absolute Setpoint
Enables transmission of the absolute setpoint temperature in addition to the relative setpoint adjustment.
Setpoint Adjustment Step Width
Defines how many degrees the setpoint changes with each adjustment step.
Example: 0.5 = 2 steps per degree
The step width applies only to the relative setpoint adjustment.
Note
The step width is defined by the Google Home application. Currently, only a value of 0.5 is supported.
This means:

A change of +0.5 °C or −0.5 °C results in a value of ±1.

Changing the absolute setpoint from 23 °C to 21 °C results in a value of −4.

Changing the absolute setpoint from 19 °C to 22.5 °C results in a value of 7.
Temperature (EIS 5 – 2 Byte FP)
The current room temperature must be provided on this group address.
Note
Google Home rounds displayed temperatures to 0.5 °C.
Humidity (EIS 5 – 2 Byte FP) (optional)
The current humidity can be provided on this group address.
Note
Google Home displays humidity values as whole numbers.
Operating Mode (EIS 14u – 0...255)
The current operating mode is sent on this group address.
Operating Mode Status (EIS 14u – 0...255)
Reports the current operating mode of the thermostat to Google.
Heating Mode Supported
Enables the Heating operating mode for this device.
Heating Mode Value
Defines the value sent for the Heating operating mode.
Off Mode Supported
Enables the Off operating mode for this device.
When the thermostat is switched on again via the voice assistant, the previously active operating mode is restored automatically.
Off Mode Value
Defines the value sent for the Off operating mode.
Heating/Cooling Mode Supported
Enables the Heating/Cooling operating mode for this device.

Defines the value sent for the Heating/Cooling operating mode.
