The WEATHER App connects your building automation system to weather data provided by OpenWeatherMap.
The weather information can be used for visualizations as well as automation and control tasks. For example, an extended dry period can automatically start an irrigation system, or a sun shading system can be moved to the desired position. If severe weather is forecast, appropriate protective measures can be initiated in advance.
OpenWeatherMap provides Weather Condition Codes for different weather situations. These codes allow reliable evaluation of weather conditions and simplify the configuration of automation rules.
Current weather information can also be displayed directly in visualizations.
